It is with great sadness that we announce the very tragic passing of our much-loved friend and colleague, Grant Sim, after a short illness on Saturday 4th October 2025. Grant will be a familiar face to many of our external colleagues and clients and will be greatly missed across the practice.
Grant joined Armour on 4th September 2023 as Director of Project Management, although working relationships date back almost 30 years. While his time with Armour was short Grant made a lasting impression and impact both within the Practice and with our client base across all sectors and will leave a lasting legacy and many fantastic memories.
Grant was an exceptionally knowledgeable (Grant GPT was the running office joke), funny and caring man who would always think and give to others, without wanting anything in return, he had time to spend with anyone regardless of how busy he was.
His wit and humour were second to none, coupled with an extensive knowledge of all thing’s music and film, from every decade you could imagine….what he didn’t know wasn’t worth knowing! Sometimes more eclectic than any of us could grasp.
Grants funeral service will be held on Friday 24th October at 11.45am in Boclair Community Church (formerly known as Killermont Parish Church), Rannoch Drive, Bearsden, G61 2LD. After the service a burial will be held at Eaglesham Cemetery G76 0JF at 2.00pm.
We are all grateful to have had time with Grant and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are very much with his family at this time.
